What is Beacon?

Beacon is a wall-mounted smart device that helps disinfect your air and surfaces. It uses a specific wavelength of light called Far-UVC to disinfect up to 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, and mold.

Unlike the UV light from the sun, Far-UVC is safe to be used in occupied spaces.

What does Beacon disinfect?

Beacon’s is capable of inactivating up to 99.99% of bacteria, pathogens, viruses (including COVID-19 and Influenza), and even mold.

Who should use Beacon?

Beacon is for anyone who wishes to limit germ spread in their space. It can be used in both home and business settings, and can be used around people (and pets) of all ages.

How many beacons do i need?

We generally recommend 1 Beacon for every 1,000 square feet.

How much does Beacon cost? Is shipping included?

Beacon is $799. This price includes all standard domestic shipping expenses.

When will I receive my Beacon?

Shipping update (8/1): Limited supply available now and can be shipped within 5-7 business days. Every Beacon device is assembled by hand and tested in the US. 

How do I install Beacon?

Beacon is easily mounted on your wall. It comes with step-by-step installation instructions. Beacon does not require any hardwiring or installation support from an electrician. If you need installation support, please contact us at info@beaconlight.co.

Are there any power requirements?

There are no special power requirements. Beacon plugs into a standard 120V outlet.

How do I use Beacon?

Beacon is app-operated (Apple iOS and Android). The app uses your local WiFi network to connect to Beacon, allowing you to turn on/off the device and customize your cleaning schedule. Beacon also has a physical on/off button in case you you wish to manually operate it.

Can I use Beacon to disinfect groceries and other objects?

Beacon will help disinfect groceries and objects that are placed within its line of sight. 

Are there any risks of owning a Beacon?

Beacon's technology leverages the safe-for-human Far-UVC wavelength of light. Further, it has proprietary sensor technology that ensures adherence to the latest safety and regulatory standards. How is Beacon different from other UV Products?

Beacon uses the Far-UVC wavelength of light, which is different from traditional UV lights used for phone cleaning or tanning beds. Studies have shown that traditional UV lights are harmful when exposed to humans. Unlike those lights, the Far-UVC is completely safe for human exposure. What is beacon's return policy?

Your order is refundable at any time prior to delivery. Beacon also offers a full exchange or refund within 30 days from date of product delivery. To request an exchange or refund, please contact us at info@beaconlight.co.

Does beacon have a warranty?

Yes. Beacon offers a 1-year warranty. This limited warranty begins on the date of delivery. To receive warranty service, the purchaser must contact Beacon for problem determination and service procedures. The original dated bill of sale must be presented upon request as proof of purchase to Beacon.

WARRANTY CONDITIONS
1. Beacon obligations are limited to the repair or, at its discretion, replacement of the product or the defective part.


2. Warranty repairs must be carried out by authorized Beacon service members. No reimbursements will be made for repairs carried out by anyone other than Beacon and, any such repair work and damage to the products caused by such repair work will not be covered by this warranty.


3. This warranty covers none of the following: a) Repair or replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear. b) Cost relating to transport, removal or installation of the product. c) Misuse, including the failure to use this product for its normal purposes. d) Damage caused by Lightning, Water, Fire, Acts of God, War, Public Disturbances, incorrect mains voltage, improper ventilation or any other cause beyond the control of Beacon.


4. This warranty is valid for any person who legally acquired possession of the product during the warranty period.
